Job Description: GliaCell is seeking a Principal Full Stack Software Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract. Key Requirements: To be considered for this position you must have the following: - Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. (This position requires in-scope poly, within 7 years). - U.S. Citizenship. - 20+ years Software Engineering experience and a BS degree in Computer Science or related. - Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. - Works well independently as well as on a team. - Strong communication skills. Key Skills: - Seeking a strong full-stack software developer with functional UI experience but primarily focused on backend web services and servers. - Experience with open-source integrations would be great and any experience with open-source tools is required - i.e. AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, Rancher, Tomcat, Spring, JMS and AWS. - Strong communication skills are needed. - Tech stack areas of experience/understanding would be: - Critical: Java threading, SpringBoot, JavaScript, JMS, MongoDB, AWS, Amazon RDS, REST, Docker, Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, Cockroach DB or other RDBMS at similar scale, COOP, Large scale distributed systems with high availability - Desired: Kibana, Alfresco, Content Management tools, Node, Svelt, React, and Angular, Confluence, Jira, Maven, Git Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland (Partial Telework of 16 hours per week is expected) Note: Telework granted for this position does not become available until after the individual has been in the position for a period of time, has acclimated to tasking/duties, and has meaningful work that can be done remotely. Telework can also be removed at any time. Salary Range: The salary range for this full-time position is $200,000 to $280,000. Our salary ranges are determined by position, level, skills, professional experience, relevant education and certifications.
