Job Overview: Serve as the primary Mercedes-Benz Financial Services (MBFS) representative within the assigned market, acting as the strategic point of contact for all Mercedes-Benz dealerships. This role is focused on fostering, developing, and enhancing strong, long-term partnerships with dealer principals, general managers, finance managers, and other key dealership personnel to support the growth and performance of MBFS products and services Core Responsibilities: Dealer Relationship Management: Build and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with both new and existing dealers. Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for MBFS, providing consistent engagement through in-person visits, virtual meetings, performance reviews, and strategic planning sessions Business Development: Actively drive volume growth across all MBFS business lines including retail financing, wholesale floorplan lending, and insurance product penetration for both passenger cars and vans. Identify and execute market specific opportunities to increase financial product adoption and dealership profitability Strategic Planning & Portfolio Oversight: Work closely with internal MBFS stakeholders to develop and implement market strategies that align with broader corporate objectives. Analyze dealer performance metrics, credit quality, risk exposure, and overall portfolio health. Recommend and deploy tactics to ensure balanced, profitable, and sustainable growth Execution of MBFS Strategy: Function as the local extension of MBFS leadership, responsible for effectively communicating, implementing, and reinforcing corporate strategy and initiatives. This includes aligning dealer operations with national incentive programs, process enhancements, digital tool adoption, and compliance standards Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams across credit, risk, remarketing, sales operations, and compliance to ensure seamless delivery of services and to resolve dealer inquiries or issues in a timely and professional manner Market Intelligence & Feedback: Provide continuous feedback to MBFS leadership on dealer sentiment, competitive activity, and market conditions. Utilize this information to influence strategic decisions and support program innovation RESPONSIBILITIES 20%  Build and nurture strong relationships across MBFS internal departments-such as sales, credit, risk, operations, and marketing-as well as with dealer partners.  Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to align cross-functional efforts, support strategic initiatives, and ensure cohesive execution of business objectives.  Additionally, actively engage in portfolio management to optimize dealer partner performance and strengthen long-term business partnerships 15%  Oversee the acquisition, onboarding, and ongoing management of wholesale accounts, ensuring efficient credit line utilization, risk mitigation, and alignment with business objectives  Maintain strong relationships with dealership finance and operations teams to support inventory financing needs and maximize account performance 15%  Actively promote and support MBFS and Mercedes-Benz Vans lease and finance programs by educating dealership personnel on product offerings, program updates, and value propositions.  Collaborate with sales and F&I teams to increase program adoption, improve customer penetration, and drive overall financial performance across retail and lease portfolios 15%  Drive the promotion and adoption of MBFS fee income products-including extended warranties, protection plans, and ancillary services-by partnering with dealership F&I teams to integrate offerings into the sales process.  Provide training, performance analysis, and targeted strategies to increase product penetration and generate incremental EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Taxes) for both MBFS and retail partners 5%  Lead the coordination, review and required documentation of year-end accruals for US 1CU, ensuring their accuracy.  Ensure compliance with dollar amount requirements for submission of year-end accruals and consistency with budget 10%  Manage and oversee the timely resolution of dealer and consumer customer service inquiries, serving as a knowledgeable point of contact to address questions, concerns, and issues  Coordinate with internal MBFS departments and dealership teams to ensure efficient problem solving, maintain high satisfaction levels, and uphold service quality standards 10%  Identify, promote, and implement operational efficiencies within dealer and internal MBFS processes by collaborating with cross-functional teams. Maintain a strategic focus on expanding the wholesale portfolio to achieve and exceed MBFS wholesale targets, while ensuring current accounts are actively managed and nurtured to sustain long-term business growth  Analyze dealer needs and market conditions to make informed decisions on the most appropriate MBFS products and services, including fee income offerings, wholesale financing, and other tailored solutions  Collaborate with dealers to customize proposals that optimize value, profitability, and alignment with their specific business objectives  Assess and make decisions regarding customer service and dealer-related issues, including the resolution of disputes, approval of waivers, management of C3 claims, and oversight of arbitration processes.  Collaborate with internal teams and dealership representatives to ensure fair, timely, and compliant outcomes that uphold MBFS policies while maintaining strong dealer and customer relationships  Collaborate closely with sales teams to develop and implement comprehensive support strategies for key  sales initiatives.  Provide tools, training, and resources that empower dealership staff to effectively promote MBFS products and services, driving increased sales volume, penetration, customer satisfaction, and overall business growth  Develop and deliver targeted support for sales initiatives across Passenger Cars (PC), Vans, and Insurance products by collaborating with sales and dealership teams to ensure clear communication of program benefits and effective execution.
