πŸš€Build the Financial Systems Powering Our Growth - Love Where You Work

πŸ“ Role: Principal Financial Systems & Data Analyst
πŸ“ Location: San Diego, CA 92101 (Onsite at Symphony Towers)
πŸ’° Compensation Range: $140,000-$170,000 DOE

We're consolidating fragmented financial data, building scalable reporting infrastructure, and setting new standards for what financial visibility looks like across a rapidly growing, multi-brand Amazon business. We're looking for a Principal Financial Systems & Data Analyst (also known in the industry as a Financial Systems Analyst, FP&A Systems Manager, or Business Intelligence Analyst, Finance) to own our financial data strategy. In this role, you'll build BigQuery as our single source of truth, lead our ERP evaluation, and shape the reporting and automation tools our finance and accounting teams rely on every day.

If you want your next move to mean more - more ownership, more growth, and more impact - we'd love to meet you!

🎯 What You'll Be Doing
  • Migrate financial and operational data - Amazon Seller Central sales, warehouse, product, and inventory - into BigQuery as the company's central system of record
  • Define data governance standards and partner with engineering to design schema and build reliable data pipelines
  • Partner with brand, supply chain, and FP&A leaders to translate ambiguous business questions into the right data models, reporting specs, and dashboard designs
  • Build executive dashboards, scorecards, and self-service business intelligence tools using Advanced SQL and platforms like BigQuery, Snowflake, Looker, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Lead the technical evaluation and implementation of an enterprise ERP and FP&A platform (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP Business One, or similar)
  • Drive financial systems automation using tools like Zapier, Make.com, dbt, and Airflow, incorporating AI-enabled reporting and forecasting where it adds value
  • Serve as the primary financial systems liaison between finance, accounting, operations, supply chain, and technology, reconciling reports against source systems before they reach stakeholders

β€’ What You Bring
  • 8+ years experience with financial systems, with a track record of building FP&A and financial reporting infrastructure from the ground up
  • Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with data warehousing and BI platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, Looker, Power BI, or Tableau)
  • Experience evaluating or implementing ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP Business One, or similar) preferred
  • Direct experience with Amazon Seller Central financial data and FBA/FBM inventory and sales integrations strongly preferred
  • Strong business partnering skills - comfortable clarifying the business question behind a data request and explaining what the numbers mean in plain language for non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Our office is designed for comfort, productivity, and collaboration, featuring:
