You'll partner with Amazon's Chief Security Officer and leadership team to drive financial strategy and planning for one of the company's most critical functions. In this role, you'll own comprehensive financial planning, forecasting, and analysis that directly influences how we allocate resources to protect Amazon and our customers. You'll translate complex financial data into clear insights that guide senior leadership decisions, while managing multi-billion dollar budgets across headcount, infrastructure, and operational spending. Your day might include updating planning timelines and coordinating review meetings with finance and leadership teams, then diving into validating headcount and operational expense forecasts to identify trends and investigate significant variances. You'll create financial review documents and provide detailed variance commentary to our business partners, ensuring transparency across the organization. Throughout it all, you'll collaborate with colleagues across finance and security leadership to maintain alignment and solve complex planning challenges together. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 10+ years of finance, tax or a related analytical field experience - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) - Experience with Tableau, Python, SQB, Quicksight, Cognos or or other BI packages PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - MBA, or CPA - Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes The base salary range for this position is listed below.
