Job Role and Responsibility:
Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, or web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple groups. Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking. Translate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions. Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions. Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage to the organization. Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership. Telecommuting is permitted. Must report in person to the location listed as the work location weekly. Multiple positions available.

Required Qualifications:
Degree required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related technical field.
Amount and type of experience required: 7 years of experience in the job offered or in a related role involving software or application engineering and development.
Specific skills required:
Experience with the software development lifecycle; experience with one of the following databases: Oracle, MS SQL, Teradata, or DB2. Must possess 7 years of experience with at least 7 of the following technical skills: Experience with SAS or SQL; Experience with JAVA/J2EE; Experience with Agile methodologies; Experience with RESTful or SOAP web services; Experience with Anthill or Jenkins; Experience with Linux or UNIX; Experience with Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, and performance tuning; Experience with Urbancode Deploy Experience in Jira; Experience with Application Logging Control tools; Experience with Maven, Oracle, or SVN; Experience in application performance, monitoring and optimization tools Blazemeter, Splunk, or AppDynamics; Experience in Application Programming Interface (API) or User Interface (UI) design and development; Experience in automations and unit testing using Jasmine, Karma, Selenium, Junit, or Jmeter; Experience in application or software security such as web application penetration testing, secure code review, or secure static code analysis.
