Principal Electrical Engineer - Power Generation Products
What you will do:
Provide technical leadership for systems development of all AGEC power generation and power conversion products spanning 10kW • 200kW power levels, serving as a key interface with customers and business leadership.
Maintain a detailed, up-to-date understanding of power generation and power conversion technologies, translating technical knowledge into competitive product strategy and long-term development vision.
Lead system level architecture and controls integration, defining controls logic and HMI architecture while directing and interfacing with embedded software engineering.
Provide technical leadership while also performing hands-on, detailed design of power conversion and power quality components, including specialty transformers and custom magnetics for high-power systems up to 200 kW.
Perform systems engineering for power conversion subsystems utilizing modern IGBT-based active front-end (AFE) architectures.
Support AC and DC power systems, including 400 Hz and 270 VDC specialty subsystems.
Conduct hands-on hardware testing and system validation, ensuring all detailed performance and compliance requirements are met.
Utilize logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and related diagnostic tools for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Work extensively in lab and production environments involving high-power electrical systems.
Serve as an electrical systems leader ensuring product performance, cost and scheduled objectives are achieved.
