Current Need

We are seeking an experienced professional to join McKesson as an Enterprise Infrastructure Client Partner. This highly visible individual contributor role serves as the primary bridge between business leadership and enterprise infrastructure and platform teams.

In this role, you will ensure that infrastructure capabilities are aligned with business priorities from the outset-translating strategy into clear, actionable plans that support growth, modernization, and day-to-day operations. You will bring structure and clarity to how work is planned and prioritized, helping leaders make well-informed decisions about investments, tradeoffs, and risks.

You will drive integrated planning across demand, capacity, cost, and risk-ensuring that initiatives are realistic, well-coordinated, and positioned for successful execution. At the same time, you will provide clear visibility into infrastructure risks, performance, and key dependencies, helping the business make confident, timely decisions.

This role requires a broad understanding of enterprise infrastructure domains (such as cloud, network, platforms, and end-user technologies) and the ability to translate technical concepts into straightforward, business-relevant language. While you will not be responsible for designing or delivering technical solutions, you will play a critical role in aligning business and technical teams to achieve shared outcomes.

You will also serve as the primary relationship lead for the business, establishing consistent engagement, governance, and communication practices that create a seamless experience when working with enterprise infrastructure.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic, relationship-focused leader who thrives at the intersection of business and technology and enjoys driving alignment, clarity, and results in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build deep understanding of business unit (BU) strategy, priorities, and operating model, and translate that context across infrastructure teams to drive aligned outcomes.
  • Develop and drive a multi-year infrastructure roadmap aligned to BU strategy, integrating modernization, growth initiatives, and core operations.
  • Partner with BU leadership to embed infrastructure early in planning cycles, enabling proactive engagement, clear prioritization, and value realization.
  • Communicate infrastructure strategy, tradeoffs, and business impact to senior stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
  • Lead integrated planning by aligning demand, capacity, cost, and risk, ensuring decisions are transparent, governed, and clearly owned.
  • Maintain a BU-level infrastructure risk register, ensuring visibility, mitigation planning, and formal acceptance where required.
  • Represent BU priorities in enterprise portfolio and capacity planning processes, surfacing resource constraints and cross-initiative dependencies.
  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure plans are realistic, risks are managed, and execution is set up for success.
  • Align demand with funding and ensure financial discipline across infrastructure investments and cost management.
  • Serve as the primary relationship leader and point of entry for the BU, establishing governance, engagement cadence, and alignment with Enterprise Infrastructure and Technology Platforms (EITP) services.

Minimum Requirement
  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 13+ years, with 8+ years, of direct work related experience. Less years required if has relevant Master's or Doctorate qualifications.

Critical Skills

  • IT Financial Management
