About the role:

As a Principal Commissioning Engineer - Mechanical Testing, you will lead development of Westinghouse products to support the APx Commissioning organization. You will establish the standard commissioning program and support infrastructure development as needed

You will report to the Commissioning Manager and be located at Rock Hill, SC or Cranberry Township, PA. The position is hybrid; onsite 2 days per week. RELOCATION IS AVAILABLE

Key Responsibilities:

Develop the standard commissioning program strategy document.

Maintain system/plant turnover process

Develop/maintain system scoping and turnover documents and drawings.

Revision / Development of Pre-op and Startup test procedures and test specifications

Identify and support procurement of specialty test equipment

Support APX project teams

Support the APx Project Development group responding to customer requests for information

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, or Associates Degree with applicable experience

7+ years of applicable experience

Navy Nuclear experience applicable

Experience with the operations of nuclear power plants

Understanding of ITAACs (Inspections, Tests, Analysis, and Acceptance Criteria)

Beneficial:

Understanding of the AP1000 COL process.

Understanding of AP1000 ITAACs (Inspections, Tests, Analysis, Acceptance Criteria) and their use in the delivery of the AP1000.

AP1000 plant commissioning/testing experience

Project Management skills

Familiarity with testing and testing analysis

Technical background

Understand project priorities and teamwork abilities

Experience mentoring engineers

Experience leading engineers in the execution of complex tasks

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $103,200 to $129,000 per year.
