Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 9 years of relevant experience; Master's degree with 7 years; or 13 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Interim secret clearance required to start.
• U.S. citizenship mandatory for applicants.
• Terraform certification (Terraform Associate+) preferred.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate+ certification required.
• Kubernetes certification (CKAD/CKS/CKA) is essential.
• Proximity to a SIPR facility is advantageous, though not essential.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design scalable multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructures.
• Lead the technical implementation of engineering roadmaps in alignment with business goals.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, performance, and reliability issues as the primary contact for escalations.
• Establish and promote standards for infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD practices, and security protocols within the organization.
• Mentor both senior and mid-level engineers and conduct design reviews to elevate technical standards.
• Manage the availability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of core cloud platforms with full accountability.
• Contribute to strategic planning and decisions regarding vendors and long-term platform investments.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration within program engineering teams for cohesive technical direction.
