Description

The principal coordinator for the Neurology clerkship, in collaboration with the clerkship chair, is responsible for the administrative management of the clerkship across all affiliate sites during this required educational experience for 2nd year medical students at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. In partnership with the clerkship chair, the principal coordinator maintains accreditation standards and serves as a liaison between medical students; dean's office staff, and faculty and staff at multiple affiliate campuses. The principal coordinator may also serve as site coordinator for clerkship activities for UCLA-based students. The principal coordinator supports, develops, initiates and/or directs a wide range of programmatic activities including but not limited to: long- and short-term curricular planning; project management; coordinating orientation activities during required intersession; policy oversight; effective communication with faculty, learners, and university staff; and internal and external program relations. Supports learners in areas such as curriculum, teaching and learning activities, scheduling, assessment, and evaluations.

Annual salary range: $70,900.00 - $145,200.00. The department's target salary range is $70,900 - $108,000.
