DescriptionAs a Principal Business Systems Analyst on the Store Item and Inventory Management Systems (SIIMS) team, you will partner with cross-functional technical and business teams to lead delivery of enterprise-scale technical solutions on web and mobile platforms. You will lead requirements gathering sessions, own and prioritize the product backlog, and define the product vision, roadmap, and delivery strategy.
The SIIMS team supports the following business processes for Retail store associates: adjustments, counts, in-store transfers, store-to-store transfers. SIIMS also manages item's data, store price overrides, and price & promotion data.
Location: Hybrid (Lakeland, FL): To support our hybrid work model, candidates must reside, or be willing to relocate, within a commutable distance of Lakeland, FL.

Your impact: - Lead requirements gathering and documentation with business and technology stakeholders.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog to align with business goals and customer needs.
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery progress.
- Drive product planning, release strategy, and execution across cross-functional teams.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to define scope, priorities, timelines, and dependencies.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and primary liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to design scalable, highly available solutions.
- Review and validate system designs, integrations, APIs, data models, and technical documentation.
- Maintain a strong understanding of application architecture, databases, cloud platforms, and system interactions.
- Analyze production issues, support root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that support business and technology strategies.
- Mentor analysts and promote best practices, process improvements, and knowledge sharing.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate requirements development, backlog prioritization, acceptance criteria creation, and stakeholder communications.

Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, or a related analytical field, or equivalent experience
- 9+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, including identifying business processes and supporting process improvements
- 7+ years of experience analyzing problems and translating them into effective solutions
- 7+ years of experience planning, organizing, and managing all activities associated with delivering solutions in a distributed environment
- 5+ years of experience utilizing Agile project management and code management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps or Jira)
- 5+ years of experience translating complex business needs into clear technical requirements and user stories
- 5 + years of experience working in cross-functional teams with developers, QA, UX designers, and product owners
- 1+ years of leveraging AI tools (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or internal tools)
- Ability to provide after-hours support during and after application deployment, including researching complex issues, determining root causes, developing workarounds, and coordinating with vendors for resolution
- Experience developing enterprise applications and a strong understanding of:
- APIs and system integrations
- Relational databases and SQL
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Application architecture and system design
- Data flows and business process automation
- Experience working with software engineers, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience as a Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Lead.
- Experience supporting modern application development using technologies such as:
- .NET / C#
- React or modern web frameworks
- RESTful APIs and microservices
- Azure services and cloud-native architectures
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
- Experience with AI-enabled solutions, Copilot, automation platforms, or machine learning initiatives.
- Experience leading enterprise-scale modernization or digital transformation programs.
