Full Job Description
We are seeking a Principal Architect, Cloud & Application Transformation to lead the evolution of our application ecosystem—modernizing legacy platforms, accelerating cloud adoption, and enabling next-generation, AI-driven capabilities.

This role blends strategic architecture leadership with hands-on engineering and is responsible for driving application-to-cloud transformation (App  Cloud) across the enterprise.

This is a high-impact, onsite role in Overland Park, KS, partnering with executive leadership, engineering, and product teams.
Must be onsite within our Overland Park, KS office location.

What Youll Do
  • Lead cloud and application transformation strategy including App  Cloud initiatives
  • Drive modernization using microservices, APIs, and event-driven architecture
  • Lead design reviews, code reviews, and architecture decisions
  • Develop prototypes and reference architecture
  • Architect solutions across AWS
  • Mentor other engineers and architects
  • Champion AI/ML and data-driven engineering approaches
  • Partner with executive leadership on technology strategy
  • Guide SDLC architecture standards and governance

Required Qualifications
  • Experience as Principal or Lead Architect in enterprise environments
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
  • Experience with .NET, C#, distributed systems
  • Track record leading modernization initiatives
  • Proven success with application-to-cloud transformations
  • Strong stakeholder communication and influence
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
