Job Title: Principal Account Manager, Key Accounts - Sales

Job Location: San Jose, California

Job Type: Full Time

Rate of Pay: $209,310 - $246,330 per year

Duties:
  • Drive profitable revenue growth by building and converting a pipeline of design opportunities through strategic customer engagement and relationship-building.
  • Lead complex technical discussions with key stakeholders; coordinate with internal teams and application engineers to deliver tailored, value-based solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic account and growth plans aligned with overall business objectives, while identifying new opportunity engagements.
  • Understand customer challenges across technical and vertical dimensions; propose comprehensive solutions by leveraging the full product and system portfolio.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate analysis, product development, and opportunity tracking efforts.
  • Document design wins, system-level details, and opportunity status; ensure timely dissemination of information across sales, marketing, and business units.
  • Support creation and maintenance of marketing collateral, promotional content, and outbound messaging across digital platforms and events.
  • Manage and contribute to trade show planning, customer-facing campaigns, and sales training efforts to support a broader go-to-market strategy.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and opportunity status in CRM tools; map customer organizations to optimize influence and engagement.
  • Provide deep data analysis of Serviceable Addressable Markets for where products and solutions align with customers generating over $10 billion in annual revenue.


Requirements: Must have a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and four (4) years of experience in the semiconductor industry, driving technical sales with key or major accounts and driving new business development opportunities to grow across unique analog vertical markets.

Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section):
  • Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") validating DC-DC regulators and VRMs powering CPUs, GPUs, and AI accelerators across datacenter and telecom platforms, showcasing efficiency, startup sequencing, and thermal resilience.
  • DE delivering high-voltage driver solutions (80-300 V) for MEMS and piezo systems in LiDAR, haptics, and medical imaging, highlighting fast startup, capacitive load stability, and integrated thermal protection.
  • DE enabling customer success in EV and industrial electrification by demonstrating fault-tolerant SiC gate drivers (400-800 V+) and motor drivers with robust switching, gate drive integrity, and compact inverter performance for propulsion and 48 V subsystems.
  • DE supporting qualification and reliability assurance through JEDEC and AEC-Q testing (HTOL, HAST, temperature cycling, MSL, ESD, latch-up), delivering yield analysis and reports that reduced customer risk and accelerated time-to-market for safety-critical systems.
  • DE building reference platforms tailored to customer applications, validating real-world thermal, efficiency, and protection behavior- bridging lab validation with system-level performance to drive adoption in cloud, EV, and renewable energy markets, and energy storage platforms.
