What you'll be doing..The Platform Operations team is hiring a technical lead to join a critical, high-visibility team that supports the stability and reliability of our core enterprise applications. You will be part of a team that bridges the gap between external vendor software and our internal OpenShift infrastructure, ensuring that critical business tools perform reliably at scale. This role will drive operational excellence for applications used by stakeholders across the organization. You will be part of the team that safeguards the uptime and integrity of our most vital third-party investments. This is a role for an intelligent, decisive, and technically astute thought leader who thrives in complex, hybrid environments. A strong candidate will have exceptional troubleshooting skills and the ability to hold external vendors accountable for their software’s performance. Candidates should also have a thorough understanding of container orchestration and think strategically about how to optimize vendor applications within a secure enterprise environment.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
- Experience in Network operations, managing multiple sites, devices and applications.
Experience in managing applications running on Openshift, Kubernetes environments and experience in configuration of the applications using kubectl, openshift clients, YAML configurations.
Experience in trouble shooting the issue(s), War room activities and RCA process.
Experience in interacting with OEM product support teams and OEM Engineering team, software providers, managing support tickets and driving resolution.
Strong proficiency in RHEL/Linux command line operations for troubleshooting node-level issues.
Experience with monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Aether) for application, virtual platform management.
Familiarity with Orchestration pipelines (Marketplace, NFVD, Ansible(Atlas)) to deliver updates to the environment.
Experience in Network performance management metrics especially on 4G RAN, 5G RAN space.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Master’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or Technology related field.
Critical thinking, problem solving abilities, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work well both independently and in diverse teams.
Experience with applications hosted on a cloud environment..
Proven experience of applications instantiations in OpenStack/OpenShift.
Excellent troubleshooting skills of network and application issues.
Experience in utilizing monitoring tools such as NetScout, SevOne etc.
Ability to adapt to new challenges to overcome short-term hurdles by staying focused on the team’s deliverables.
Ability to learn quickly and use widely available tools and methodologies.
Experience in Per Call Measurement Data (PCMD), Report-Based AVRO Binary Data.
Experience in Samsung RAN (CSL, CTT), Ericsson RAN (EBM, CTUM, CTR ).

The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $120,500.00 - $231,000.00.
