Position OverviewWe are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a Family Medicine out-patient, full-time practice in a busy, well established office at Robinson Street, Binghamton, New York.
Position is 100% outpatient.
This opportunity includes outstanding clinical and administrative support staff.
Must be board certified and able to be licensed in the State of New York. Open to experienced and new grads applicants.
Primary Department, Division, or Unit:UHS Primary Care Robinson Street
Annual Compensation Range:$131,900 - $155,200
Provides primary care to patients, collaborating with and under the direction of physicians in the clinic, following established standards and practices. Helps with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations. Educates patients about preventative care and prescribed treatments. Conducts physicals, orders tests and serves as a patient's primary healthcare provider.
Education/ExperienceMinimum Required:
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree
- Possession of an NPI (National Provider Identification) number, as evidenced by the receipt of a copy of the notification assigning the number
- Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program
- Three (3) years of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting
License/CertificationMinimum Required:
- Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse License
- American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) certification
- Current NYS Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) license and certification with New York State Education Department
- Documentation of current CPR certification required within one (1) week of hire, with maintenance of current CPR certification during employment
- Certified Prescriptive Privilege in NYS
Preferred:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Possession of Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (BNDD)Number
