Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 6+ years of finance, accounting, or business administration experience in manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of costing and pricing principles and practices.
• Experience in government contracting and negotiation.
• Ability to analyze and resolve moderately complex costing issues.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in computer applications relevant to the role, including spreadsheets.
• Willingness to work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Compute cost factors and prepare estimates for management planning and bidding.
• Compile and analyze statistical data to assess product purchasing feasibility and pricing objectives.
• Conduct studies to establish standard hour costs and identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Interface with internal teams and external vendors to gather necessary data and make product sourcing recommendations.
• Analyze documentation to prepare estimates for time, cost, and labor.
• Review data to determine material and labor needs and create itemized lists.
• Perform pre-award, post-award, and fact-finding audits.
