Job Description

The Pricing Analyst for our Metal Solutions businesses will serve as the lead on the execution of pricing activities for our Buildings, Components Residential Metal Roofing, and Retail Direct businesses. This role reports to Director of Strategic Pricing. The successful candidate must be analytical and detail-oriented with strong communication skills. This role will work in close collaboration with Sales and Sales Operations to drive execution of key pricing activities to deliver on our monthly, quarterly, annual and long-term targets.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Support system execution of pricing strategies for channels and products.
  • Lead in sales support on all pricing related inquiries throughout Shelter Solutions.
  • Address issues and concerns raised by team members relating to pricing.
  • Follow current and future pricing practices established by Pricing Manager/Director
  • Using applicable pricing data to help come up with recommendations to streamline everyday pricing execution across the business.
  • Partner with cross functional team to drive overall price consistency.
  • Support the successful execution of the price increase/decrease process internally and externally.
  • Continuous improving on price execution process.
  • Other activities and projects as assigned/required.


Qualifications
  • 3+ years combined experience in Demonstrated success in prior pricing positions, price consulting, finance or other related fields, ideally in a B2B setting.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Exposure to pricing methodology and systems.
  • Self-starter that acts with urgency and care.
  • Exceptional organization skills with ability to prioritize and execute in a timely manner.
  • Basic understanding of pricing concepts and ability to leverage those concepts into results.
  • Must be willing to have professionally challenging conversations that are productive not destructive.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
  • Skilled at dealing with a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills


Additional Information

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000-$100,000 + bonus + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
