Description

The Preventative Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the preventive, predictive, and breakdown Computerized Maintenance Management System ("CMMS") for PVSC's wastewater system, which consists of regulators, sewers, and pump stations, as well as hydraulic, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation equipment. Will organize and procure resources to ensure the efficient coordination of maintenance activities and will analyze maintenance data to make recommendations for the continuous improvement of the maintenance program.

Minimum Requirements

Requirements: The ability to meet deadlines, work well under pressure, and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, is required. Must be knowledgeable of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and modern maintenance principles and techniques. Must be able to monitor and prioritize work order status, review operating procedures and job plans based on the operating manual, generic maintenance strategy and historical records, and provide estimated time and material costs for equipment repairs.

Experience:Two (2) years' experience in database management along with experience providing database management program training. Three (3) years of increasingly responsible administrative support experience is also required.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Licenses and/or Certifications: Must possess a valid New Jersey driver's license.

Physical Demands: Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation to ensure the health and safety of oneself and others are maintained. Perform physical activities that require considerable use of the arms, legs, and the whole body such as climbing (including ladders), lifting up to 50 lbs., balancing, walking, stooping and handling heavy objects. Must qualify for and possess the ability to perform entry into confined spaces while wearing proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as, but not limited to, canister and dust masks, as well as SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus), in compliance with PVSC's Facial Hair Grooming Policy.

Working Conditions: Workers are employed in conditions associated with a wastewater treatment plant and sewer collection system and may be required to work indoors and outdoors depending upon the nature of the position.

The expected base pay rate range for this position is between $123,257 to $154,059 annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, education, training, and formal credentials.
