Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Prefabrication Facility Manager to join our office in Houston, TX.

DESCRIPTION:

As a Prefabrication Facility Manager at Fisk Electric, you will have the responsibility for the overall supervisory and administrative management of Fisk Fabrication facility, providing direct leadership to Shop Personnel.
  • Lead and oversee daily operations of the Fisk Fabrication facility, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and safe production.
  • Supervise and provide direction to Shop Personnel, and Procurement teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve fabrication schedules and project slotting to meet delivery commitments.
  • Monitor and manage departmental and facility budgets, including P&L performance and cost control initiatives.
  • Read, interpret, and ensure construction aligns with engineering drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with packaging standards established manufacturers.
  • Ensure completion and accuracy of Inspection Reports for all fabrication projects.
  • Supervise receipt and verification of materials against Purchase Orders and Bills of Materials (BOM), coordinating with Project Engineers, Buyers, to resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the fabrication facility and Executive Management.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on production status, key performance metrics, and operational risks.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and resource optimization.
  • Support workforce planning, staffing decisions, and performance management for facility teams

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Highschool diploma or GED required, bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or a related field is preferred but not required
  • 7 or more years of prefabrication experience
  • 3 or more years of experience managing and leading teams in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • Experience managing departmental or facility-level P&L, including budgeting, cost control, and financial performance.
  • Strong technical and operational understanding of Electrical equipment and fabrication processes.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to communicate information clearly to management, clients, and cross-functional teams.
