Prefabrication Facility Manager to join our office in
Houston, TX.DESCRIPTION:As a
Prefabrication Facility Manager at Fisk Electric, you will have the responsibility for the overall supervisory and administrative management of Fisk Fabrication facility, providing direct leadership to Shop Personnel.
- Lead and oversee daily operations of the Fisk Fabrication facility, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and safe production.
- Supervise and provide direction to Shop Personnel, and Procurement teams.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve fabrication schedules and project slotting to meet delivery commitments.
- Monitor and manage departmental and facility budgets, including P&L performance and cost control initiatives.
- Read, interpret, and ensure construction aligns with engineering drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with packaging standards established manufacturers.
- Ensure completion and accuracy of Inspection Reports for all fabrication projects.
- Supervise receipt and verification of materials against Purchase Orders and Bills of Materials (BOM), coordinating with Project Engineers, Buyers, to resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the fabrication facility and Executive Management.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on production status, key performance metrics, and operational risks.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and resource optimization.
- Support workforce planning, staffing decisions, and performance management for facility teams
REQUIREMENTS:- Highschool diploma or GED required, bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or a related field is preferred but not required
- 7 or more years of prefabrication experience
- 3 or more years of experience managing and leading teams in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Experience managing departmental or facility-level P&L, including budgeting, cost control, and financial performance.
- Strong technical and operational understanding of Electrical equipment and fabrication processes.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to communicate information clearly to management, clients, and cross-functional teams.
