Qualifications

• Four year degree in Construction Engineering or Management or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of construction estimating experience.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical estimating preferred.
• Strong negotiation, team building, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong conceptual estimating capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams with budgeting and scheduling during preconstruction.
• Assist in developing project pursuit strategies and techniques.
• Prepare bid schedules to determine project costs.
• Collaborate with design team to manage project costs effectively.
• Provide technical support for negotiating contracts and change orders.
• Consult with clients and vendors to formulate accurate estimates.
• Review construction documents to understand scope of work for bidding.
• Ensure accuracy of final estimate packages prior to submission.
• Support marketing and business development with cost opinion as needed.
• Maintain and update estimating system.
