Full Job Description
Imagine a future where you help shape and deliver renewable energy projects before they become reality.

Join us in this role where you'll play a key part in developing and preparing utility-scale renewable energy projects for successful execution. You'll lead preconstruction activities across wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects, providing commercial, budgeting, scheduling, and contracting expertise from early-stage development through Final Investment Decision (FID). Working at the intersection of Development, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Construction, you'll help ensure our projects are commercially competitive, executable, and positioned for long-term success.

You'll play an important role in:
  • developing and managing capital expenditure budgets, project estimates, spend forecasts, and construction schedules throughout the development and preconstruction phases
  • collaborating with engineering, procurement, development, and finance teams to align technical solutions, commercial objectives, and project execution strategies
  • evaluating EPC proposals, analysing commercial and technical submissions, and supporting contractor selection through structured bid evaluation processes
  • leading the negotiation and execution of EPC contract execution in line with project milestones and investment timelines
  • preparing budget, schedule, and forecasting recommendations that support project approvals and investment decisions
  • identifying and mitigating preconstruction risks related to permitting, supply chain, labour availability, site conditions, constructability, and project scope changes.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, economics, finance, supply chain management, or equivalent experience
  • bring knowledge of renewable energy projects, construction processes, project budgeting, and procurement contracts
  • have experience managing multiple projects and priorities while maintaining strong stakeholder alignment
  • use analytical thinking and sound commercial judgement to support complex project and investment decisions
  • demonstrate strong organisational skills and a structured approach to planning, forecasting, and risk management
  • communicate effectively, build trusted relationships, and thrive in a collaborative cross-functional environment.

Maybe you've read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don't quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
