Job Description
Candidate will be working for the SPW Earthworks Group. Job will include working with HCSS HeavyBid/HeavyJob, Agtek, AutoCad, and other civil estimating programs preferred. Emphasis will include working to create, manage, and support preconstruction and field operations with GPS models, quantity take-offs, change order management.

Job Summary:
Supports development of Self-Perform Work (SPW) preconstruction deliverables by assisting with quantity assessments, production research, cost studies, and document review. Collaborates with field leaders, engineers, and project teams to clarify SPW scope requirements and confirm feasibility of proposed work plans. Applies foundational knowledge of construction methods and SPW processes to support estimating, logistics planning, and constructability evaluations. Contributes to the preparation of proposals, budgets, and early-phase SPW planning materials.

Key Responsibilities:
Reviews drawings, models, and specifications to identify SPW scope requirements, production considerations, and potential conflicts.
Prepares basic quantity assessments and cost studies by gathering data on material, labor, and equipment needs for SPW activities while helping to document assumptions, clarifications, and scope notes related to SPW estimating.
Supports collection and validation of production rate information by coordinating with field leaders and reviewing historical SPW performance data.
Assists in developing SPW constructability inputs, logistics considerations, and sequencing assumptions to support early planning, including crew compositions, labor hours, equipment requirements, and material quantities.
Tracks and organizes SPW pricing information, proposal documents, and historical data to maintain accurate project records. Assists with subcontractor or supplier pricing comparisons when SPW work interfaces with trade partners.
Coordinates with SPW estimators, engineers, and operations teams to ensure SPW assumptions align with broader project strategies.
Develops proficiency in estimating tools, takeoff software, and internal SPW cost databases. Contributes to preparation of SPW reports, updates, and cost summaries for internal teams and client deliverables.

Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:
0-2 years of experience in SPW estimating, construction engineering, planning, or a related construction role required.

Certifications and Licenses:
None required.

Anticipated starting pay range:
$80,000.00- $100,000.00
