- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Pre-Owned Sales Consultants to consistently exceed sales and customer satisfaction goals.
- Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales, gross profit, volume, and CSI objectives.
- Desk deals and structure transactions to maximize profitability while maintaining a premium customer experience.
- Work closely with the General Sales Manager to develop pricing, inventory acquisition, and merchandising strategies.
- Analyze inventory aging, market trends, and competitive pricing to optimize vehicle turn and profitability.
- Manage daily sales activities including appointments, floor traffic, CRM follow-up, and sales process compliance.
- Ensure all customers receive a first-class luxury buying experience that aligns with Mercedes-Benz standards.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and retain top-performing sales professionals.
- Monitor salesperson performance through coaching, accountability, and performance reviews.
- Partner with the Finance Department to maximize product penetration while maintaining compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of lender programs, manufacturer incentives, and dealership promotions.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, dealership, and manufacturer regulations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: - Minimum 3-5 years of automotive sales management experience within a franchised dealership.
- Current or recent experience managing a Pre-Owned/Used Vehicle Sales Department is required.
- Luxury automotive dealership experience (Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Lexus, Audi, Porsche, Land Rover, Cadillac, Acura, Infiniti, etc.) is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated history of consistently achieving or exceeding sales and profitability goals.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams.
- Strong experience desking deals and managing inventory performance.
- Extensive knowledge of CRM systems, dealership operations, and automotive financing.
