Shift:Description:Practice Manager - Primary Care Central Nurse Triage and Immediate Care locationsPosition Summary: Reporting to a regional director or executive director, the practice manager is responsible for all daily operations of their assigned clinical locations including management of all front-line non-exempt staff, ensuring appropriate clinical operations, adherence to budgets, adherence to regulatory standards, patient experience (including quality, safety, and satisfaction), and experience of physicians and staff. Constantly assesses daily operations to identify areas for ongoing improvement and oversees implementation of improvement initiatives alongside site medical director(s) at direction of regional director/executive director.
What You Will Do- Lead the day-to-day operations of ambulatory clinical sites, blending clinical insight with operational leadership
- Inspire, coach, and develop front-line teams (up to 50 staff), creating a high-engagement, high-performance environment
- Partner closely with physicians, medical directors, and regional leaders to drive productivity, access, and operational excellence
- Use data and real-time metrics to improve patient flow, staffing efficiency, and overall clinic performance
- Build strong, trusted relationships across clinical and operational teams to support shared goals
- Own financial performance for assigned sites, including labor management, expense control, and revenue targets
- Champion patient experience, quality, and safety while serving as a visible leader in the clinic
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen workflows, team collaboration, and care delivery
What You Will Need- Bachelor's degree required (Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience (3-5 years preferred), ideally in an ambulatory or outpatient setting
- Clinical background strongly preferred, with a desire to grow into or expand a leadership role
- Proven ability to meet productivity goals, improve performance, and manage competing priorities
- Experience building relationships with physicians, staff, and cross-functional partners
- Prior people leadership experience preferred (or readiness to step into a formal management role)
- Strong communication skills, energy, and a hands-on leadership style
Compensation:Salary Range: $84,000 - $134,000/ annually
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
