The Practice Manager, reporting to the Administrative Director, is responsible for administering, managing, planning and coordinating all practice activities, management of staff, patient relations and the financial operations of the practice. Oversee daily operations of the Practice, including, but not limited to the patient registration and billing, supervision of non-clinical staff, establishment of work schedules, patient flow, adherence to site policies and procedures, physician billing, staff development, etc.
- Associate Degree.
- Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Hospital based physician practice management
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language in person, by phone and in writing.
- Knowledge of Physician Billing and coding regulations including courses in medical terminology, ICD-CPT and HCPCS coding preferred
- Ability to work independently and to be accurate, efficient and organized
- Ability to respond to emergent or stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Demonstrated knowledge of intermediate computer skills, i.e., Microsoft Office, Excel, and Access & Word. Ability to generate reports in each of these software systems.
