Full Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Practice Manager - Surgical to lead and oversee the daily operations of our surgical practice in a single or multiple locations with six or less physicians. Assists with the development of practice objectives to ensure financial profitability through short- and long-range planning in order to achieve and maintain growth. Continually evaluates practice strategies and plans to meet changing national, state, and local needs. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. This role is vital in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care, efficient clinic management, and compliance with healthcare regulations. The Practice Manager will serve as a key leader, coordinating clinical and administrative functions, managing staff, and optimizing practice performance to foster a positive environment for both patients and team members. The general pay scale for this position at MOH is$76,187.90 - $117,212.16 per year. The actual hiring rate is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to prior work experience, education, job/position responsibilities, location, work performance, etc. Responsibilities Job Description: 3 Develops and establishes policies, procedures, and objectives. Ensures their adequate execution, compliance, and updates. 3 Analyzes general and specific business conditions as they relate to operational issues and advises the supervisor on these matters. 3 Within the scope of authority, oversees the development of systems (both manual and automated) to properly support practice-wide activities based upon business needs. Coordinates hardware and software requirements of existing and future systems. 3 Promotes effective communication and adequate information flow within the practice. 3 Oversees the preparation and maintenance of management reports necessary to carry out functions of the practice. Prepares periodic reports as necessary or required. 3 Oversees practice compliance with appropriate accreditation body standards. 3 -Oversees development and coordination of new office locations and their needs as required. 3 Supervises all practice staff. Clinical work direction provided by physicians. 3 Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities): 3 Bachelors degree in a Business or Healthcare related field. 3 Minimum seven years experience in healthcare management, including at least two years in a supervisory capacity.
