Job Summary

The Practice Lead, Wealth Management is a senior subject-matter expert responsible for shaping and driving eClerx's wealth management practice across client engagements, solutions, and delivery. This role serves as the expert on wealth management business processes, regulatory landscape, and industry trends, partnering closely with client engagement, delivery, and business development teams to design and scale differentiated solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep, cross-functional experience across multiple wealth management functions and a proven ability to translate industry expertise into practical, revenue-generating client outcomes.

Responsibilities

Practice Development & Strategy
  • Define and evolve eClerx's wealth management practice strategy, service offerings, and go-to-market positioning.
  • Identify emerging trends, regulatory changes, and technology shifts (e.g., AI-enabled advisory, digital onboarding, orchestration) shaping the wealth management industry, and translate these into practice priorities.
  • Build and maintain a repository of reusable frameworks, accelerators, playbooks, and points of view across wealth management functions.
  • Establish and track practice-level metrics, growth targets, and capability roadmaps.

Client Engagement & Business Development
  • Partner with client engagement managers and business development teams on pursuits, proposals, and pitches involving wealth management clients.
  • Act as a trusted subject-matter expert in client conversations, bringing credibility and depth across front, middle, and back-office wealth management functions.
  • Support solutioning for RFPs and new business opportunities, shaping value propositions tailored to client needs.
  • Represent eClerx at industry forums, client workshops, and executive briefings to build the firm's wealth management brand.

Solution & Delivery Oversight
  • Provide delivery oversight and quality assurance across active wealth management engagements, ensuring solutions remain aligned to industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with delivery leads to troubleshoot complex engagement challenges and identify opportunities for process or technology-driven improvement.
  • Guide the design of operating models spanning areas such as reconciliations, client onboarding (KYC/AML), trade support, reporting, exception management, and advisory support.
  • Champion the adoption of automation, AI, and orchestration tools within wealth management delivery models.

Talent & Capability Building
  • Mentor and develop talent within the wealth management practice, building bench strength across functional specializations.
  • Design and deliver training curricula to upskill delivery teams on wealth management domain knowledge.
  • Recruit, evaluate, and onboard senior hires and subject-matter experts to strengthen practice capabilities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Operations, Technology, Compliance, Risk, and Product teams to ensure practice offerings remain compliant and technically current.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in transformation initiatives spanning multiple wealth management client relationships.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align practice direction with broader firm strategy and revenue goals.


Eligibility Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience across different wealth management functions, across front office, advisory support, enablement and operations
  • Demonstrated experience working with or within premier wealth management, private banking organizations.
  • Strong understanding of wealth management regulatory requirements, industry standards, and emerging technology trends (AI, automation, orchestration).
  • Proven track record of practice-building, solutioning, or capability development in a consulting, BPO, or financial services operations environment.
  • Experience contributing to business development efforts, including RFP responses, client pitches, and proposal development.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior client and internal executives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical and operational detail into clear business narratives.


In the US, the target base salary for this role is $115K - 150K. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors
