Job Description

RPI Consultantsis seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial, and results-driven PracticeDirector of Workday Services to lead the growth and expansion of our emerging Workday consulting practice. This position will play a critical leadership role in establishing and scaling Workday support services and consulting capabilities, with an initial focus on supporting organizations running Workday in Healthcare and Public Sector.

Building on RPI's decades of success delivering ERP, automation, and digital transformation solutions for healthcare and public sector organizations, the Director will help define the long-term vision, go-to-market strategy, service offerings and build the team required to achieve these. This leader will work closely with executive leadership to foster the Workday partnership, drive practice growth, expand client relationships, and build a high-performing organization grounded in trusted partnerships, delivery excellence, and industry expertise.

The ideal candidate brings deep Workday consulting experience, strong executive presence, and a proven ability to grow consulting services through both business development and talent acquisition. This individual will leverage an established professional network to recruit top consulting talent and create a scalable, client-focused practice capable of delivering exceptional outcomes for healthcare, public sector, and enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

Practice Leadership & Growth Strategy
  • Lead the development and expansion of RPI's Workday consulting practice, with an initial focus on post-production support offerings.
  • Define strategic growth initiatives, market positioning, and service offerings aligned with RPI's long-standing ERP and automation expertise.
  • Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute business development strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion across healthcare and public sector industries.
  • Identify and cultivate opportunities to cross-sell and expand services within existing RPI client relationships.

Client Engagement & Consulting Leadership
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, providing strategic guidance throughout the Workday transformation and support lifecycle.
  • Lead client-facing consulting engagements while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and delivery quality.
  • Collaborate with sales, delivery, and technical teams to scope engagements, develop proposals, and deliver tailored Workday solutions.
  • Build long-term client partnerships through proactive account management, strategic planning, and consultative problem-solving.
  • Maintain close engagement with client leadership to ensure successful delivery outcomes and alignment with organizational objectives.

Talent Acquisition & Team Development
  • Recruit, attract, and retain high-performing Workday consulting professionals through established industry relationships and professional networks.
  • Represent the RPI culture, centered on collaboration, accountability, innovation, and client service excellence.
  • Mentor and develop consulting leaders and team members to support career growth
  • Establish resource planning strategies that align staffing capabilities with practice growth objectives and client demand.

Innovation & Industry Leadership
  • Contribute to RPI's continued innovation in ERP transformation, workflow automation, and digital modernization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership and solution teams to identify market opportunities and evolving customer needs.
  • Represent RPI in industry events, client presentations, and strategic discussions related to Workday transformation and managed services.
  • Promote thought leadership and service innovation that strengthens RPI's position as a trusted advisor within healthcare and public sector markets.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Human Resources, or a related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in ERP consulting, professional services, or enterprise application leadership, with significant experience in the Workday ecosystem
  • Proven experience building, growing, or leading Workday consulting or managed services practices
  • Strong understanding of Workday support models, post-production services, and enterprise transformation programs
  • Experience supporting clients transitioning from legacy ERP platforms, preferably Infor CloudSuite or similar enterprise systems
  • Demonstrated success driving revenue growth, developing consulting services, and expanding strategic client relationships
  • Established professional network within the Workday consulting ecosystem with a track record of recruiting and developing top consulting talent
  • Experience serving healthcare, public sector, or highly regulated organizations preferred
  • Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
  • Strong operational leadership capabilities, including forecasting, delivery management, and resource planning
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale services in a growth-oriented environment

Additional Information

Location: Position is nationwide and requires frequent travel nationwide as well as the discipline to work from home as needed.

Salary: Pay commensurate with experience.
