Your role
As a Practice Director – Operational Readiness, you are a senior leader responsible for driving growth, delivery excellence, and capability development within your area of practice, with a focus on healthcare environments. You lead strategic accounts and complex operational readiness initiatives, ensuring strong financial performance, high-quality outcomes, and client satisfaction across clinical and operational settings.
You act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, shaping delivery, resourcing, and operational readiness strategies while proactively identifying risks and opportunities across your portfolio.
You also play a key role in developing senior and intermediate talent, embedding best practices and quality standards, and strengthening the organization’s market presence through thought leadership and industry engagement within the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic healthcare sector accounts and drive growth within the Operational Readiness service line
- Act as Project Executive on complex engagements, ensuring delivery excellence, quality, and client satisfaction
- Oversee financial performance across your portfolio, managing risk, optimizing resources, and achieving strong project outcomes
- Shape and contribute to business development, including strategic pursuits, account planning, and market intelligence
- Establish and continuously improve delivery methodologies, quality standards, and best practices (QMS) including the developing of standardized tools and processes.
- Coach and develop senior and intermediate practitioners, building high-performing, collaborative teams
- Provide expert guidance to stakeholders, influencing decisions on delivery, resourcing, and operational readiness strategy
- Strengthen the organization’s market presence through thought leadership and industry engagement in the healthcare sector
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience delivering large, complex projects or programs, including recognized expertise in healthcare with a preference for acute care environments
- Proven experience leading strategic accounts, client relationships, and business growth initiatives
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing project performance, risk, and profitability
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop senior-level professionals
- Established industry network and active engagement in relevant professional or trade associations
- Professional Healthcare designation is considered a strong asset
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills

Approximate Salary Range for Practice Director: $126,000 to $173,000
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
