Full Job Description
Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) Specialist to join our team. This is a Hybrid position. Requiring 3 days a week on site in Arlington, Virginia.

We have a unique opportunity for an Air Force Financial Management SME to join our tightly knit team supporting the Air Force in the implementation and deployment of a CPM software solution automating an agency's annual close, consolidation and financial reporting process. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Develops, analyzes, evaluates, and advises on methods and techniques to improve organization, work processes, procedures, information systems, documentation, and similar Functions.
  • Tasked with assisting in the development of detailed recommendations regarding the application of functional requirements to the financial statement solution.
  • Responsible for identifying problems and developing recommendations, as well as coordinating action with program team and the client.
  • Develop and Deliver Training materials and training courses

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related degree
  • 10+ years of work experience in DoD Financial Management with at least 6 years of hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: Air Force Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Execution and Financial Reporting.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Federal Financial Accounting and Financial Management concepts, requirements, standards, and policies from U.S Treasury, FASAB, OMB and OUSD Comptroller.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master of Business or equivalent degree
  • CPA, CGFM, or CDFM preferred
  • Prior consulting experience with DoD or federal clients


Clearance Requirements:
  • US Citizenship with a DoD Secret clearance.


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations


The projected compensation range for this position is $192,600.00-$353,500.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
