Description:The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Powertrain Testing - Lab Operations function at the Client site.
Reporting to the Manager of Operations - Central Lab Ops, the person in this role will support the Powertrain Testing department's objective to ensure testing readiness.
What you'll be doing:
- Test Execution: engine, powertrain, or vehicle chassis dynamometers and emission analyzers.
- Compliance Validation: Verify test results against Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and certification procedures (such as FTP, HWFE, and US06).
- Data Analysis: Analyze emission outputs, particulate matter (PM), and fuel economy data to optimize engine performance.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose equipment or vehicle anomalies in controlled test cells and environmental chambers
- Support on site teams to ensure facilities are supporting current and new R&D activities.

- Oversee and resolve problems associated with R&D testing equipment.
- Support daily operations and problem solve those issues and develop countermeasures
Requirements: What you bring:
- Education: A bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of propulsion systems, CFR Emission Testing Requirements,
- Software/Tools: Proficiency with data acquisition tools (Panel 4, ETAS or Hioki) and modeling platforms
What you may bring:
- Professional Engineering License (PE)
- Proficiency in reading electrical and mechanical prints
