The primary purpose of this position is To exercise technical and administrative supervision over Rivet MILE Team mechanics in accomplishing Depot Level maintenance on the Minuteman III/Peacekeeper Inter-Continental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs). To maintain supervision of the missile facility and supervise the field testing, repair, overhaul and modification of ordnance support equipment, associated equipment at missile bases, launch facilities {LF) and missile alert facilities (MAF).

Qualifications:

- U.S. Citizenship

- Obtain & maintain Security clearance

- This may be a designated Drug Testing Position

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable)

- The employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include overtime, and/or days, swings, or owl shifts.

- The employee may be required to work during base exercises, contingencies or emergency situations.

- The employee may occasionally travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft IAW Joint Travel Regulations to other government installations, contractor facilities, or other commercial Locations for both training and mission accomplishment.

Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

1. Knowledge of a wide range of principles, processes, and techniques of Minuteman and Peacekeeper Weapon System and personnel management policies, practices, and procedures, including sexual harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity/ Equal Employment Treatment.

2. Knowledge of safety regulations, practices, and procedures to include managing storage, transportation, handling and disposal of hazardous materials.

3. Knowledge of the use and maintenance of hand and power tools, equipment, and precision measuring and /or test

equipment common to Minuteman and Peacekeeper Weapon System ground support equipment.

4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, sketches, and technical specifications.

5. Ability to supervise, plan, and organize work assignments for a Rivet MILE team to include determining resources required to accomplish mission.
