Location: Westlake, TXJob DescriptionWe are looking for a highly experienced Power BI Embedded BI Solution Architect to support clientfacing reporting modernization initiative The role will focus on designing and solving complex Power BI integration embedding performance security and externaluser reporting challenges within clients digital ecosystem The client currently has external users accessing reports through a clientfacing website PSW and is migrating from the existing OAS BIE reporting platform to Power BI The selected SME will provide deep architectural guidance evaluate open design challenges run focused proofofconcepts and recommend scalable solutions for highly complex clientfacing BI scenarios This is not a standard Power BI developer role The client is seeking a senior SME who can operate as an expert advisor solve difficult BI architecture problems and bring industry experience from similar enterprise BI modernization programs
Required Skills Experience
1 Strong expertise in Power BI especially Power BI Embedded and external clientfacing implementations
2 Experience integrating Power BI reports into web applications portals
3 Experience building reusable embedded analytics frameworks
4 Deep understanding of DirectQuery Import and Hybrid data models
5 Handson experience with Snowflake and largescale data environments
6 Strong knowledge of datatier security and userlevel access control
7 Experience optimizing report performance for highvolume external users
8 Expertise in semantic layer design and data modeling strategies
9 Ability to design solutions for large data exports paginated reports and custom reporting needs
10 Strong understanding of M query parameters filtering techniques and potential risks
11 Proven ability to solve complex BI architecture problems and provide scalable solutions
12 Knowledge of UI abstraction patterns for embedded BI
13 Experience with multitenant reporting architecture
14 Experience migrating from Oracle Analytics Server OAS OBIEElike platforms to Power BI
Nice to Have Skills
1 Prior experience with financial services client reporting platforms
2 Experience with external wealth brokerage institutional client portals
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 130,000 - 140,000
