Full Job Description
Who We're Looking For (Position Overview):

We are looking for a Developer and Consultant to work with our Headquarters Marine Corps client for the building of PowerApps / Data visualization tools to support audit remediation, account management, and overall IT health metrics. Our ideal candidate will take existing database and excel files to create automated solutions that are simple, reliable, manageable, and reusable. Our new teammate will be asked to work independently, as well as in a consulting capacity by teaching Marines and Civilians how to use PowerApps to support emerging needs as they occur.

What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):

  • Your day to day will be highlighted by working with our Marine Corps customers and existing team members to analyze existing data and crafting solutions that remediate or visualize daily metrics. Ideally, you will split time between developing these solutions as well as proposing enhancements or methods to better visualize data.
  • You will also be given the opportunity to work with Marines and civilian staff in order to introduce them to PowerApps, its capabilities, and how to implement low-code solutions.


What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements)

  • 5-7 years of strong understanding, familiarity, and use of Microsoft PowerApps, to include PowerBi, DataVerse, and PowerAutomate.
  • Power Apps - Comprehensive knowledge and ability to create both model and canvas apps using low code and enhanced coding in Power Fx
  • Power Automate - ability to develop complex Power Automate flows with multiple connectors
  • Dataverse - full understanding of Dataverse and RBAC permissions. Knowledge of the various types of datasets that can be used and best way to leverage them for applications and flows.
  • History of building solutions for government or commercial clients using existing data files or active databases for the purposes of finding discrepancies or visualization of data.
  • DOD SECRET Clearance is preferred and will be given stronger consideration.


Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Experience working with Federal government, particularly US Navy or Marine Corps customers.
  • Working with and mentoring others in app creation or low-code solutions.
  • Understanding of ActiveDirectory and other account management tools.
