Zions Bancorporation's Capital Markets Analyst Program positions are not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B visa). This includes, for example, situations where a candidate may have temporary work authorization while enrolled in school or upon graduation (e.g., CPT, OPT) but would need H-1B visa sponsorship within a few years of employment in order to maintain employment eligibility.

Full-Time Capital Markets Analyst Program:

The ZCM 2-year Analyst Program offers a unique experience to join a rapidly growing platform and team. The program offers the opportunity to maximize Analysts' potential in these early professional years, providing foundational knowledge, skills, and experiences that will last a professional lifetime. Analysts will immediately take an active role within their team (while completing a formal training program), working alongside seasoned banking professionals to successfully meet the needs of our clients.

The Power & Project Finance Group is a specialized team of experienced industry experts with a proven record of structuring and efficiently executing custom financing solutions for owners of power generation assets and power-related infrastructure projects across the United States. The team provides construction and term debt, acquisition financing, revolving credit facilities, and letters of credit for projects in the solar, wind, natural gas-fired, energy storage, geothermal, hydroelectric, and transmission sectors. This team's deep experience is complemented by the full product suite of Zions Capital Markets, enabling the team to perform all essential roles of a syndicated project financing, including loan syndications, administrative agency services, and interest rate hedging. Typical project financing transactions range from $50 million to over $500 million.

Zions Capital Markets has offices throughout the U.S. including in Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Houston, Charlotte, and Fort Lauderdale.

  • Real Estate Capital Markets - Fort Lauderdale or Charlotte
  • Power & Project Finance - Los Angeles


Zions Capital Markets is looking for candidates who have:
  • Completed BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, and/or related majors, with a scheduled graduation prior to the annual June 7th start date
  • Overall GPA of 3.5 or above
  • Strong interest in finance and capital markets
  • High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement
  • Proven analytical ability, critical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Comfortable working with peers at all levels, ranging from fellow analysts through Managing Directors
  • Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program

This position is eligible to earn a base salary of $90,000/annually.
