Full Job Description
Lentech is seeking a high-Performance, multi-disciplinary team to lead a technical implementation of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform-based case management system (CMS). This mission-critical project and CMS supports legal services to children in support of the U.S. Government. U.S. Citizenship is required along with the ability to positively pass a public trust background investigation.

The primary implementation timeline occurs across the first 180 days of the project and moves into steady state operations for the remainder of the first year. A five-year follow-on contract is expected based on positive performance in the first year. The implementation follows an aggressive timeline divided into four key phases: Mobilization, Core Operations, Fully Functional Delivery, and Steady-state Operations.

This effort demands a collaborative team capable of maintaining operational continuity throughout the transition and into operations. You will be working with a primary legal team providing the CMS to the lawyers working each individual case. Candidates must be prepared to handle high-velocity delivery, strict data privilege boundaries, and the technical rigor required to support vulnerable populations.

Role Overview: The Power Platform/Azure Developer is a core technical role responsible for building the custom extensions, external access portals, and integration adapters required for the implementation of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Case Management System. This role focuses on delivering high-complexity technical items-such as reversible integration adapters and Power Pages-while adhering to a "configuration-first" principle that ensures the system remains supportable.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Custom Component Development: Design and implement custom components, plug-ins, and scripts only when a requirement cannot be met through standard configuration.
  • External Portal Development: Build and configure Power Pages to provide secure, organization-isolated access for Legal Service Providers (LSPs) and volunteers.
  • Integration Adapter Design: Develop a "reversible adapter" architecture for required interfaces. This design must isolate Government-specific endpoints, schemas, and credentials from the core system, allowing build work to proceed against mocks while live Government connectivity is pending.
  • Automation & Logic: Build and document the starting inventory of all automations, ensuring they include standardized failure handling, retries, and audit trails.
  • Data Model Extension: Assist in refining the Dataverse model and implementing all required data elements, ensuring all fields map to implemented components or have approved dispositions,.
  • Security & Privilege Controls: Implement role-based access, field-level security, and organization isolation to protect attorney work product and sensitive program data,.
  • Traceability & Compliance: Ensure every custom component and integration mapping traces directly back to identifiers in the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM),.
Technical Deliverables:
  • Integration Artifacts: Interface control documents, canonical payload models, provisional OpenAPI mappings, and mock specifications.
  • Design Documentation: Process diagrams, workflow specifications, and portal design documentation.
  • Deployment Assets: Managed solutions and configuration-item inventories for deployment through the automated ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) pipeline.
Required Skills and Experience: 7+ years of development experience
  • Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with Dynamics 365, Power Platform (Dataverse), and Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus).
  • Development Languages: Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, and Liquid for extending the Power Platform and Power Pages.
  • Integration Expertise: Experience building secure, repeatable integrations with complex error-handling patterns, including dead-letter queues and automated reconciliation.
  • High-Compliance Experience: Familiarity with developing for Government Community Cloud (GCC) environments and implementing NIST-aligned security controls.
  • Education & Certification: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400).
Project Context: The Power Platform/Azure Developer will be instrumental during the implementation and throughout the initial operations month to ensure all requirements are built into the solution and adjust during the initial months of operations. Because "activity or effort alone is not acceptance," success in this role is measured by the delivery of objective work products that pass the test areas defined.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Our team members value the flexibility at Lentech that allows them to balance quality work and their personal lives. The range shown below is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is: $128,000.00-$164,000.00
