QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in the related field of study preferred
- 2nd Class Engineer- Massachusetts Department of Fire Services required
- 5-7 years' experience in power plant operations required
- 2-3 years' experience in a supervisory role required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Expertise in power plant operations, including boilers, turbines, and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to power plant operations and safety.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Manage a team of power plant operators, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the power plant, including start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures.
- Develop and Implement power plant operating procedures and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including maintenance and engineering, to ensure the proper maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities.
- Plan and oversee capital improvement projects related to the power plant.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to power plant operations and safety.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on power plant performance, including production, efficiency, and costs.
