Job Description

The Richmond Group USA is working with an industry-leading manufacturer to find their next Power Electronics Engineering Manager.

This newly created role offers the chance to lead a global engineering team developing next-generation power electronics solutions for heavy equipment and transportation applications. You'll own projects from concept through launch, leading R&D, new product development, product introductions, and partnering directly with key customers on strategic development programs.

We're seeking a strong technical leader with deep power electronics expertise-not someone who has moved away from the engineering. You'll guide development of advanced power systems, power conversion technologies, and electrification solutions while working closely with customers, suppliers, and global teams.

Responsibilities include technical project leadership, effort estimation, budgeting, resource planning, and mentoring engineers through complex technical challenges. You'll have significant influence on product strategy and technology direction while partnering closely with senior engineering leadership on next-generation electrification initiatives.

The company is investing heavily in battery-electric propulsion, powertrain-agnostic platforms, and next-generation power electronics, creating an exciting opportunity to shape future products and technology roadmaps. If you thrive in a fast-paced development environment and want a role where you can truly make your mark, we'd love to connect.
