- Develop traction inverters for electric vehicle applications.
- Design, bring-up, characterize and troubleshoot traction inverters.
- Design and validate circuit schematics and PCB layout.
- Perform complex circuit design analysis, thermal analysis, and control analysis.
- Perform failure analysis.
- Support design validation and end-of-line tests specifications.
- Collaborate with mechanical design, software, system, project management, supply chain functions throughout the organization.
QualificationsYou'll have...
- Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- 2+ years of experience in power electronics product development
- Hands-on experience of schematic capture and circuit simulation & analysis tools.
- Hands-on experience of PCB layout for better signal integrity and manufacturability
- Hands-on experience with high voltage power electronics testing and validation.
- Familiar with IGBT, MOSFET etc. devices and power modules
Even better, you may have...
- Experience with EMI troubleshooting
- Familiar with three phase inverters and motor control
- Experience with safety-critical automotive hardware development
- Familiar with industry standards and regulatory requirements for power electronics products.

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $115,800-193,680.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
