Job DescriptionRole OverviewWe are looking for a meticulous and innovative
Power Apps Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and functionality of our Microsoft Power Apps, Liferay, and Pentaho Business Intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automated software testing with Selenium scripts combined with hands-on experience in developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to support the development and rigorous testing of Power Apps, Liferay, and Pentaho Business Intelligence solutions.
Primary Responsibilities- Execute functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for Liferay, PowerApps, and Business Intelligence applications.
- Proficiency in developing, maintaining, and executing automated Selenium regression scripts in Java is essential.
- Write, maintain, and execute automated Java-based Selenium regression testing scripts to validate application functionality across releases.
- Support both manual and Selenium-based regression testing activities.
- Validate application functionality across development, stage, and production environments.
- Document testing results, defects, screenshots, and findings within Jira tickets.
- Coordinate with developers to troubleshoot issues identified during testing.
- Support sprint testing activities and verify resolutions prior to deployment.
- Assist with production deployment validation and post-release verification activities.
- Track defects and return failed stories to development teams for remediation when necessary.
- Work within Agile/Scrum environments and participate in team coordination activities.
- Maintain testing documentation, test evidence, and status updates for project stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain PowerApps applications (Nice to have).
