NURSE PRACTITIONER -Non-Invasive Cardiology!Banner - University Medicine in Scottsdale, AZBanner University Medical Group - Phoenix is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team of highly trained Outpatient Cardiologists. Based out of our newest facility, Banner - University Medicine Cardiology Scottsdale, this provider will work closely with the lead physician managing patients. Qualified candidate must be detail-oriented and dedicated to providing excellent care in challenging situations. The NP hired, will be involved in clinical management of patients, performance of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, education, consultation, and research. You will be required to work autonomously at time as well as with physicians and other clinicians along the continuum in a team approach to patient care.
Practice details and qualifications include:- One-year NP experience in Cardiology/Critical Care training and experience
required
- Current Board Certification and Current Arizona License
- Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications
- Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances
- Work schedule: Monday through Friday clinic in outpatient cardiology (4-10-hour shifts, No Call)
- Outpatient; 15-20 patients per day
Primary Location: Banner - University Medicine Clinics Scottsdale, is
located at 7400 N Dobson Rd in Scottsdale, AZ. Opening in 2025, this innovative academic campus is designed to provide the people of Scottsdale and surrounding areas a single location for many of their non-acute health care needs. The academic clinical setting also allows for immediate access to on-site advanced imaging, lab, pharmacy, and will include several providers across 11 different specialties, including hosting resident and fellow trainees in rotation.
