Job DescriptionAs a Portfolio Manager for the Retail Petroleum and Convenience Store sector, you will be responsible for credit underwriting, monitoring, and portfolio management of Commercial banking relationships. Additionally, you will ensure strong credit quality and achieve efficient internal processes to retain and expand customer relationships. You will also participate in analyzing financial data to determine the merits of loan requests, monitoring the performance of existing client relationships, and assist in the management and organization of the loan portfolio.
Primary responsibilities include- Responsible for proactive credit and risk administration of assigned portfolio accounts in the retail petroleum sector
- Structuring, underwriting, and documenting new business, renewals and modifications as the credit expert within the first line of defense.
- Analyze borrower performance with attention to industry-specific metrics such as fuel volume trends, margin volatility, environmental liabilities, and site-level cash flow performance
- Provide client management support for assigned portfolio.
- Direct client interaction on standard credit and risk follow-up issues.
- Actively engage with Relationship Managers on progress, issues, and challenges regarding a particular customer relationship or portfolio concern.
- Handle multiple demands and competing priorities while meeting deadlines and schedules associated with maintaining portfolio and compliance with credit and risk policies.
- Manage moderately complex credits.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials- Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of underwriting and portfolio management experience.
- Demonstrate a strong technical understanding of reviewing appraisals and environmental reports.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills providing updates and summaries, completing follow up activities with clients and internal partners.
- Bachelors Degree required
- Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience underwriting and portfolio management in retail petroleum preferred but not required.
- Attention to detail and analysis in financial statements and accounting documents

PayTransparencyThe salary range for this position is $114,000 - $141,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
