Compensation: The salary range for this position is estimated to be $82,497.00 - $158,624.00 annualized, which reflects the company's current estimate of the potential compensation range at the time of posting. This salary range reflects the anticipated compensation for this position and represents one component of the total rewards package. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, qualifications, and allotted budget. About Our Opportunity

The Portfolio Manager Food and Agribusiness is responsible for managing an assigned portfolio and supporting all aspects of the lending process, including loan origination, closing, servicing, and growth efforts. The role collaborates with sales, credit, operations, finance, legal, and leadership teams to ensure efficient transaction execution and portfolio management. Serving as a resource to the sales team and an intermediary between credit and operations, the Portfolio Manager helps optimize customer service and expand business opportunities.

This role applies solid functional knowledge and sound judgment to deliver dependable, high-quality work with minimal direction. Team members at this level manage moderately complex responsibilities, balance priorities effectively, and contribute meaningful insights that support team and functional performance. They are trusted to navigate varied situations, identify improvement opportunities, and operate with increasing autonomy.

How You Will Spend Your Time

  • Manages and services an assigned Food and Agribusiness portfolio, ensuring high-quality customer support and ongoing account management.
  • Supports loan servicing and credit-related activities by partnering closely with Credit, Operations, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient transaction execution and portfolio administration.
  • Serves as a primary resource and backup to Food and Agribusiness sales team during customer interactions, document review, and relationship management activities.
  • Develops and maintains trusted relationships with customers, prospective customers, industry influencers, partners, and System stakeholders to support business objectives and customer success.
  • Identifies and evaluates business development opportunities through market research, reporting analysis, and participation in customer and prospect meetings.
  • Collaborates across teams to achieve credit quality, operational efficiency, and customer experience goals while ensuring alignment between sales, credit, and operations functions.
  • Manages assigned work with minimal direction delivering a high degree of accuracy, quality and timely completion.
  • Applies functional knowledge and judgment to evaluate information and make informed decisions.
  • Anticipates needs, manages competing priorities, and proactively communicates status or risks.
  • Supports process improvements by identifying gaps and recommending practical solutions.
  • Collaborates effectively across teams to advance shared goals and business outcomes.
  • Serves as a resource to less experienced team members through informal guidance.


Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED with 7 years relevant experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree with 3 years relevant experience preferred.
