Full Job Description
Department Overview:

The US CLO Primary team is in the Spread Products Financing & Securitization organization.

The Primary CLO desk originates, arranges, structures and distributes CLOs for asset manager. CLOs are Special Purpose Vehicles ("SPV") that are backed by a pool of fixed income assets that can include Broadly Syndicated Loan, Middle Market Loans, and Bonds.

The team is highly collaborative and is established as one of the largest arrangers in the CLO market globally.

Role Overview:

To be part of a newly created in-business product management (PM) team within the CLO Primary business.

The team is looking for a PM to support the US CLO Primary business on KYC, settlements, controls, technology, execution and analysis.

Work Profile - Specifics:

KYC, Onboarding & Lifecycle Management: Own CLO KYC onboarding and refresh processes end-to-end, coordinating with internal KYC teams, trustees, and clients to ensure approvals are completed in line with deal execution and closing timelines.

Deal Execution & Platform Readiness: Partner with structuring, syndicate, settlements, and operations teams to ensure entities, documentation, and systems are fully set up ahead of pricing and closing, supporting smooth execution across the deal lifecycle.

Security Identifier & Static Data Management: Manage ISIN and CUSIP requests for new issuances and resets, maintaining and updating static data as deal structures evolve and ensuring consistency across internal and external systems.

Operational Controls & Issue Resolution: Identify, investigate, and coordinate resolution of P&L, booking, and operational breaks, working across front office, operations, and control functions to mitigate risk and prevent recurrence.

Systems, Reporting & Governance: Support deal and portfolio activity across internal origination, syndication, and reporting platforms, contributing to senior management reporting, regulatory processes, internal audits, and ongoing control reviews. Assist the desk in developing and improving internal systems as well as adoption of AI.

Transaction & Stakeholder Management: Provide broad transaction support including Bloomberg deal uploads, settlement confirmations, invoice tracking, ticket updates, and ongoing engagement with internal legal, finance, IT teams, and external service providers.

Knowledge/Experience:
  • Knowledge of Citi risk systems is an advantage but not essential, as well as relevant policies and procedures
  • General knowledge of asset backed lending, specifically CLOs advantageous
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as demonstratable ability to comprehend legal documentation
