As a Portfolio Banker within theCommercial Bankingteam, your role is to be the focal point ofmaintainingexisting client relationships. Bankers work both independently and as part of a team to introduce our comprehensive solutions to clients. As a Portfolio Banker, youare responsible forgrowing andretainingprofitable relationships within theCommercial Bank.

Our Bankersare required tohave deep working knowledge of our solutions including, but not limited to: Credit, Treasury Services, International Banking, Syndicated Finance, CommercialCardandJ.P. Morgan Merchant Services. Our strongest Bankers have a methodical approach tothe marketactivity and prospecting.We deliver locally and therefore our ideal candidate has deep local connections and market knowledge.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage,retainand deepen a portfolio of Commercial Banking business clients with annual revenue between$20million -$100million(Emerging Middle Market)
  • Champion a culture of innovation and a customer centric mindset
  • Utilize knowledge of business, finance, payment solutions, banking, credit, and risk management toidentify, recommend, and promote solutions that best serve the client and ensure the profitability of the portfolio
  • Stay up to date with industry trends toidentifyopportunities forinnovationor strategic partnerships
  • Find ways tofurtherefficiency with existing technical infrastructure through automation while embracing the innovative opportunities offered bynew technologies
  • Protect the firm by following sound risk management protocols and control policies and adhering to regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Minimum of five yearsdirect lendingor credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
  • Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
  • Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
  • Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work underpressureand meet tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability toestablishcredibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
  • Strategic and inquisitive mindset, knowledge of the bank and its offerings, and ability to gain support from partners to manage large client book
