Job DescriptionDescription This position is for a Portfolio Acquisition Execution (PAE) Human Resources Analyst in
Chantilly, VA supporting cutting-edge and innovative space programs. This position supports the Satellite Program Office by providing direct support to government customers in execution of their duties and responsibilities. The PAE Human Resources Analyst collects, manages, and analyzes workforce data to assist government customers make data-driven decisions. The position requires familiarity with multiple DoW and IC organizations, processes, and satellite systems.
Role Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and coordinating correspondence, reports, and related items for the SPO Human Resources.
- Implementing and delivering HR best practices; resolving HR issues when they arise.
- Effectively communicating with leadership to status HR activities.
- Tracking, writing, and coordinating awards and nominations.
- Supporting all SPO business processes and business rhythm.
- Working collaboratively with SPO leadership and internal and external stakeholders.
- Planning, tracking, and driving to closure all HR tasks and products.
- Anticipating what is needed for the SPO to be successful and responsive to organization leadership.
- Planning ahead, anticipating issues, providing solutions, and solving problems.
- Overseeing and ensuring the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the SPO.
- Maintaining action tracking process and tools; managing status; providing metrics.
- Drafting executive level briefings as needed.
- Working with program schedulers to develop schedules depicting major SPO activities and responsibilities.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 10 or more years of related experience; in lieu of degree, 18 years of related experience.
- Proven expertise in HR business and administrative processes and controls.
- Experience supporting government program office.
- Self-sufficient critical thinker who possesses a manager's mentality.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Exemplary writing and editing skills.
- Strong networking, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Superior judgement and tact in complex, sensitive, and/or contentious situations.
- Experience working with high-level customers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Strong experience in writing/editing memos and correspondence.
- Ability to communicate with a diverse audience of decision makers with varying levels of programmatic and technical expertise.

• Previous SAP experience desired.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
