Description
Position Resposibilities
Analyzes manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancements of quality, reliability, cycle time, cost reduction, and yield.
Develops and tracks improvement in planned KPIs (first pass, downtime, performance).
Supports investigation of production/performance quality issues and customer complaints to identify root cause and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Works with the production units to identify and implement process improvements in areas such as material movement, logistics, and workflow.
Supports production department to trouble shoot and resolve technical problems.
Drives product scale up and new product introduction in the manufacturing unit.
Assists with design construction and start-up of new or upgraded equipment.
Maintains Batchcalc file for batch instruction and formula/specs.
Periodically reviews Routings and quality matrix.
Monitors product standards via SQC and implements quality-control programs.
Coordinates, setup, implements and maintains management of change documentation and standard operating procedures for all operations.
Uses and maintains systems associated with PSM, TCPA, QMS, GMP, etc.
Coordinates and monitors day to day operator activities to maximize process efficiency, minimizes raw material unloading delays, minimize rework, and ensures on-time shipments to customers and production schedule.
Works closely with manufacturing department to develop, coordinate, and implement technical training for employees.
Maintains an exemplary conduct and enforces Coim USA policies and procedures when required.
Cooperates with HR and Operations Management in the correction of unacceptable employee behavior and performance.
Must be proficient in all aspects of the operator position and must perform these duties on an "as needed" basis.
Ensures housekeeping standards are being maintained in the production unit
Implements and maintains 5S program through the units
Participates in all safety related activities and meetings
Performs all responsibilities safely, ethically and in compliance with all federal & state regulations.
