Full Job Description
What You'll Do

In this role, you'll join our point of care Sales Team in support of Flatiron's strategic expansion of OncoEMR sales. You'll own smaller community oncology deals end-to-end, support larger and more complex opportunities alongside the Director of Sales, and help build the sales infrastructure and partnership pipeline that fuels Flatiron's continued growth. In addition, you'll:
  • Independently own net-new OncoEMR sales opportunities for smaller community oncology practices, managing the full cycle from initial discovery through contract execution
  • Conduct discovery calls, coordinate product demos, and collaborate cross-functionally with Solution Design, Implementation, and Interfaces teams to support a smooth path to close
  • Support the Director of Sales in advancing larger, more complex community oncology and multi-specialty/urology opportunities, including prospect research, multi-stakeholder demo coordination, and follow-up communications
  • Drive top-of-funnel pipeline growth by identifying and engaging new OncoEMR prospects, and by triaging inbound interest submissions
  • Stay informed on community oncology and urology market trends and competitive landscape
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date opportunity and pipeline data in Salesforce, including deal plans, stage guidance, and next steps, to support monthly sales reporting
  • Partner with the Director of Sales and BizOps to build and continuously improve the HC Sales Playbook, capturing messaging, objection handling, and learnings from active deals
  • Serve as a first point of contact for inbound partner inquiries to the Flatiron Vendor Network (FVN), assessing fit and routing qualified vendors through the appropriate next steps
  • Lead introductory discovery calls with prospective FVN partners, evaluate fit against program criteria, and provide clear recommendations on next steps
  • Help develop and maintain internal FVN process documentation, intake materials, and vendor tracking resources

This is a highly cross-functional role, requiring close collaboration with Solution Design, Implementation, Interfaces, Marketing, and BizOps teams. Ultimately, this role is designed to sustain momentum in Community Oncology and FVN partnerships, while building the capacity to pursue new market opportunities in new OncoEMR market sales.

Who You Are

You're a motivated, resourceful self-starter who thrives on progressing deals and partnerships from first conversation to close. You bring strong organizational instincts, high personability, and a collaborative mindset to everything you do, and you're energized by the opportunity to help build a growing sales function at Flatiron. In addition:
  • You have 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, consulting, or a related client-facing role
  • You have a B.A. or B.S. or the equivalent relevant industry experience
  • You have prior experience in healthcare, health tech, or a related industry, and you're motivated by the opportunity to apply that experience to Flatiron's mission of improving cancer care
  • You have hands-on experience using Salesforce (or a comparable CRM) to manage pipeline, track opportunities, and maintain accurate deal data
  • You are a self-starter who takes ownership of your pipeline and proactively drives deals and partnerships forward with minimal oversight
  • You have strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple deals, prospects, and priorities simultaneously without letting details fall through the cracks
  • You have high emotional intelligence and personability, with the ability to quickly build rapport and trust with prospects, partners, and internal stakeholders alike
  • You have a strategic, market-savvy approach to identifying opportunities and understanding what drives value for prospective customers and partners. You are able to identify key decision-makers and develop sales strategies, not just manage transactions.
  • You are a natural cross-collaborator, comfortable working closely with Solution Design, Implementation, Interfaces, Marketing, Legal, and BizOps to move deals and initiatives forward
  • You are goal-oriented and motivated by measurable outcomes, with a track record of progressing toward (or exceeding) targets
  • You are comfortable operating in ambiguity and are excited to help shape and scale sales infrastructure (playbooks, process, tooling) as Flatiron expands into new markets
  • You are passionate about our mission to improve healthcare through technology and to improve cancer treatment and accelerate research

Extra credit
  • You have prior experience working in or selling into the community oncology or similar ambulatory care centers
  • You have familiarity with EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems, ideally OncoEMR or a comparable oncology-specific platform
  • You have prior experience supporting or managing vendor/partner relationships in a healthcare technology ecosystem

This role can be based remotely or in our NYC office. Wherever you're based, you'll need to be willing to travel at least 20% of the time, including regular office visits if you're not NYC-local, to support in-person prospect meetings, partner discovery, and team collaboration.
