Overview

The PMO Manager, Pharmacy Services leads complex cross-functional programs and strategic initiatives supporting Pharmacy Services. This role is responsible for program and project governance, financial oversight, resource coordination, risk management, change leadership, and executive reporting. The PMO Manager is expected to exercise significant independent judgment, influence decision-making across multiple stakeholder groups, and provide leadership for complex initiatives that directly impact Pharmacy Services operations, strategic goals, and organizational performance.

 

Pay: $125,000 - $150,000 Annually 

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex enterprise-wide Pharmacy Services programs from initiation through implementation and operational transition.
  • Translate business objectives into executable program plans, milestones, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with Pharmacy Services leadership to prioritize and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitate governance structures, steering committees, executive reviews, and decision-making forums, partnering with Finance, IT, and Operations.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans including scope, schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
  • Manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously while balancing competing priorities.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators and program success metrics.
  • Maintain RAID logs, project plans, decision logs, status reports, and governance artifacts.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Lead project meetings, status reviews, executive presentations, and stakeholder communications.
  • Prepare executive dashboards, business cases, recommendations, and status reports.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
  • Identify, assess, document, and mitigate risks, issues, and barriers to successful execution.
  •  Lead organizational change management efforts supporting new processes, technologies, and business initiatives.
  • Drive process improvement, workflow optimization, operational efficiency, and scalability initiatives.
  • Promote PMO standards, methodologies, governance practices, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, contractual obligations, privacy standards, and company policies.
  • Promptly report any allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department.
  • Comply with VytlOne’s Ethical Business Conduct policy and VytlOne’s Compliance Program.
  • Remain free from exclusion under the OIG and SAMS Medicare/Medicaid lists.
  • Complete required training, as assigned, within the established timeframes.
  • Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
  • Ensure staff is informed of product upgrades or enhancements in a timely manner.
  • Hire, train and discipline staff.
  • Develop and mentor departmental staff by providing career coaching; motivate departmental staff, individually and as a group; understand and support diversity; and establish an effective team.
  • Conduct initial and annual performance evaluations.
  • Promote teamwork.
  • Maintain regular attendance in accordance with established policies.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. PMP preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive project/program management experience. Healthcare, pharmacy services, PBM, or operational transformation experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of program and project management principles, PMO governance, strategic planning, risk management, financial oversight, and organizational change management.

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including executives, clinicians, operations leaders, vendors, and business partners.

  • The ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders without direct authority, manage competing priorities, and translate business strategy into successful execution is essential.

  • Experience within healthcare, pharmacy services, PBM, specialty pharmacy, or other regulated environments is preferred.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive business information.

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in managing programs, resources, and business priorities.

  • Ability to travel up to 15–25% based on business needs, including leadership meetings, project support, training, conferences, and stakeholder engagement. Travel may include overnight and multi-day trips.
